The Obama Administration announced a new immigration reform policy, Friday August 19, 2011, that will temporarily halt the deportation of illegal immigrants classified as "low-priority" cases. As it stands, there are approximately 300,000 deportation cases pending with the Federal Immigration Courts.

Permanent Residency and Temporary Visas There are many different types of visas available to foreign nationals, some of them limited in the amount of time the individual is allowed to stay in the country and others allowing the individual to live in the United States permanently. B visas, or business visitor visas, are available to individuals who need to enter the United States temporarily for business purposes but are not planning on giving up their residence abroad.
